Vijaya Kora & Sri. Dr. Venkata Chalapathi Kora to cater to the domestic market.
Kora Shoes Private Limited company has a State-of-the-art manufacturing facility adopting a super green strategy at Walajapet, Tamil Nadu.

About our Founders
Vijaya Kora, a proven successful 80’s women entrepreneur who is the Founder and Director of Kora Shoes Private Limited, possesses extensive expertise in footwear with more than 40 years of experience and has been honoured with various awards and recognitions from the State and Central Governments.
Dr. V. Chalapathi Kora, an 80’s research scholar, and entrepreneur, currently serving as Chairman of Kora Shoes Private Limited, holds a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Leather Chemistry from CLRI (Central Leather Research Institute) in Chennai, India, and boasts 40 years of experience in Leather Science and Technology.

Ramesh Kora, who is the second-generation entrepreneur of Kora Shoes, currently serving as Managing Director, brings extensive supply-chain expertise from his tenure at prominent consulting firms like IBM and Deloitte in the USA. With a focus on designing solutions for material movement, credit management, global distribution, and sales-finance integration, he has successfully served clients including General Motors, Levis, Bridgestone, Sara Lee, and Visteon. Additionally, his roots with Ajantha Shoe Company facilitated the implementation of total quality management, enhancing the company's global competitiveness. Now, as Managing Director, he oversees all aspects of the supply chain from procurement to sales.

Kora Vijaya received the Women Entrepreneur Award on behalf of Ajantha Shoe Company from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry for FY20-21.
Kora Ramesh received an Award on behalf of Kora Shoes Private Limited from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry for manufacturing and exports of 100 crores.
Kora Vijaya received the Women Entrepreneur Award on behalf of Ajantha Shoe Company from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry for FY22-23.
